On September 26, the Company's Party Committee convened the September Enlarged Party Committee Meeting in Conference Room 207 of the company office building. The meeting was presided over by Wei Ligang, Deputy Secretary of the Company's Party Committee, Deputy General Manager and Chairman of the Trade Union.
At the meeting, all participants watched the themed Party lecture promotional video Confident China: On New-Quality Productive Forces. Through the learning session, all attendees reached a profound understanding that against the backdrop of the current economic situation, new-quality productive forces have emerged as a robust driving force for the high-quality development of enterprises. Accurately grasping and vigorously cultivating new-quality productive forces carries crucial strategic significance for enterprises to break through development bottlenecks and seize the commanding heights of future competition. As enterprise managers, it is imperative to translate the requirements of new-quality productive forces into concrete practices of innovating development concepts and driving technological breakthroughs, so as to forge core competitiveness for the new Xingtai Iron and Steel that is geared towards the future.
To implement the requirements put forward by Chairman Zhang Yuming on improving the competency of leading cadres, the Party lecture featured a special presentation themed Learning from History: On the Performance of Duties and Training of Leading Cadres. Participants noted that the session had provided them with a brand-new understanding of how to fulfill their responsibilities and lead teams effectively in their management positions. They pledged to closely align their work with the two current priorities—the construction of the new factory area and the production and operation of the old factory area. Moving forward, they will broaden their vision and expand their perspective to define development directions, build strong teams, control risks and create value, thus transforming their role functions from "professional experts/implementers" to "strategic thinkers, resource integrators, decision-makers and team leaders". They will earnestly play an exemplary role by setting a good example, give full play to the Party organizations' role as fighting bastions and the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members, and lead and guide all employees to fully implement the decisions and arrangements of the company and its Party Committee. Guided by innovative management and cutting-edge technologies, they will advance the digital and green transformation of the new Xingtai Iron and Steel, and make new and greater contributions to achieving the company's annual production and operation targets.
Senior leaders of the company including Tian Xinzhong and Xu Huiyun, as well as all middle-level managers and professional staff at the director and deputy director levels attended the meeting. Relevant personnel stationed at the new factory in Weixian County participated via video conference.
